Clearance in the air and water will be achieved with the design of the Gondola.
Flexibility of aerial cable transport systems allows for ascents and descents at greater
than 45 degrees. In other words, gondolas are capable of 100ft vertical rises on runs of
100ft. With proper design, no buildings,boats, or other structures will interfere with
the path of The Baltimore Lift.
Tower foundations will be set on caissons drilled into bedrock. Certain pieces of real estate will need to be procured to allow
for certain tower foundations.
